HardHat 101

Hard Hat 101 equals quality home renovation and remodeling
As owner, contractor and founder of McNamara Construction,
I’m proud to have successfully served homeowners and commercial property owners
in their remodeling and construction projects for 23 years.
In that time I’ve learned what’s important in providing a quality service:

Any remodeling project requires a delicate balancing act between having a human touch, and performing miracles with a hammer… both are essential to providing a quality service and successful outcome.

The most important tool on the job?
Communication, hands-down. Listening and understanding clients’ needs, clearly explaining the process to them,
and keeping them updated are keys to good relationships and successful projects.

Treat clients as you would like to be treated- with respect, understanding, and a positive attitude.

Be a stickler for details and organization in all phases of the project, and expect the same from the crew.

Be flexible.

Hire only the best professionals in their crafts, and treat them well. Provide a quality service at a competitive price.

“Play well with others” – maintain strong relationships with designers, architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and professional associations.

It’s been said that “living in your home while you remodel is like being awake through your own tonsillectomy”.
I proudly take every step to dispel that myth. That’s why we’re still in business, and why so many of our clients return to us for subsequent projects. They tell their friends about us, and ask to serve as references. We’ll gladly provide a list upon request. Thank you for considering our company for your remodeling or new construction project.
